Grace's Background

I have always had a passion for community-based work, storytelling, and accessible education. Through out my Masters in Sociology and post-graduate work, my research focus has always been connected to the human-animal bond and animal-assisted interventions. I continue to connect my research work to my community involvement as a certified St. John Ambulance therapy dog handler.

Currently I work as a project coordinator in PAWSitive connections lab at the University of Saskatchewan. In this role, I have developed numerous knowledge translation products that highlight our research findings, community initiatives, and advocacy in engaging and dynamic ways across our social media platforms.
